When I nipped down there to snap some shots of the Selfridges signage for an article about them winning World’s Best Department Store I took a few photos of the window displays too. And they know how to do a window display – I always make a b-line for their Christmas display – but for their Big British Bang celebration they’ve gone all out on Britishness. There’s Punch and Judy, a Pearly Queen, corgis galore, plenty of Union Flags and even a builder’s bum – brilliant.
