When I heard about The Mexican Suitcase film I immediately wanted to see it and finally it came to London for a screening at the Frontline Club. Missing for almost 70-years, the Mexican Suitcase consists of three boxes of negatives photographed by Robert Capa, Gerda Taro and David ‘Chim’ Seymour throughout the Spanish Civil War up until 1939 when Capa’s assistant Chiki Weisz as the Nazis approached Paris.
